The Current Runs Against the Tide

In his past life, Jiang Liu was an unremarkable but kindhearted young man who stood up for others. After losing a loved one, clashing with coworkers, and being betrayed by his partner, he was bitten by a stray cat. In pain, he kicked it, and the incident inexplicably went viral online. He was then hounded by online abuse and died in despair.

After being reborn, he swears never again to be a pushover whom anyone can bully. He will win back the white moonlight in his heart, put an end to online violence in the internet age, and seize his chance to ride the tide of change, living only for himself.
