The Apocalypse Begins with a Nightmare

Do you believe that dreams are the opposite of reality? It all began with a dream. Fantasies shattered, darkness seeped into reality, and ancient viruses began to spread. As the human heart proved impossible to fathom, Wan Li, an overworked office worker nearing thirty, had a nightmare. In her dream, tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, blizzards, and hurricanes raged across the world. All manner of legendary demons, monsters, ghosts, and spirits roamed the Earth. The world of her dream seemed like something she'd only ever seen in movies, yet it was so vivid and terrifying. Even worse, in the dream, her boyfriend Li Haicheng had gotten together with her best friend Feng Zhenzhen. She willingly searched for supplies for them in the apocalypse, hoping that the scumbag would come around one day. Then, on a stormy night, the two of them carved her up alive for meat. She woke from the dream in excruciating pain. No storage space, no romance, strong female lead, lone wolf, slow-paced growth.
