Monster Chronicles, as the name suggests, are legends about "monsters". In fact, they are more about some incredible weird things and phenomena, and have nothing to do with ghosts in the traditional sense. This book is a collection of short stories, with a total of 32 short stories. The stories are separate and interrelated. They all take place in a place called Guitun. They are not only limited to ghost legends, but also involve local customs and legends. The "Ghost Village" in the ancient village is the nest of "monsters". The author uses storytelling techniques to show people many incredible things: the Crescent Bridge, the century-old locust tree brother, the madman's tomb, the Ai-oh Temple, the Temple of the Righteous Dog, the Crane Girl, as well as the spiritual animals who must retaliate, the Yin Soldiers, the Ghost Market, the Immortal's Feet... Giving readers a strange reading experience that they can't stop.
