Zhang San transmigrates bodily into the world of cultivation. He has no golden finger, just the hard-working, workhorse constitution he was born with.
Fortunately, this world is somewhat materialistic. There are no bizarre cultivation arts, and the bar for cultivation isn't high. After an accident triggers a powerful being's protective measures within him, Zhang San successfully embarks on the path of cultivation.
In this world, cultivating immortality is a transformation of one's essential nature. Improve that, and you can become an immortal in a single step. Some immortal fruits, for instance, can make you immortal just by smelling them.
But cultivating the Dao is the truly incredible part. It genuinely increases combat power and grants unfathomable, wondrous abilities.
In this fantasy world, the strong are not revered; they are capitalists. The weak are doomed to be exploited.
Zhang San arrives with a natural workhorse constitution. As the ultimate workhorse, he makes his way in this fantasy world, studying techniques, cultivating, and comprehending the Great Dao with the same tireless diligence. Though only of average talent, all those years of labor finally bring him up to the minimum standard expected of a genius.
But workhorse Zhang San doesn't blame fate or anyone else. He works even harder, pursuing self-improvement while being exploited.
Sadly, it makes no difference. He still can't escape his fate of being exploited.
At last, Zhang San understands his true ideal: to create a world without oppression or exploitation, where everyone is equal, free, and treated justly.
He cherishes all living beings, yet even with sages in the world, their suffering does not lessen.
Seeing that everyone has grown accustomed to this, Zhang San resolves to awaken their fighting spirit through his own efforts. He creates countless universes and endlessly searches for a way to make his ideal a reality.
Having endured countless hardships and overcome myriad tribulations, he finally attains the Red Great Dao.
