I’m a Local Master at Bureau 749

[Two female leads + two strong leads + Bureau 749 for Paranormal Affairs + metaphysics + Miao geomancer from western Hunan]

The main cast is entirely female, with almost no male characters except for the paranormal entities involved in cases.

Xu Qinghuan, the 48th-generation heir to the geomancer tradition of the Miao people in western Hunan, is invited by Director Wang of the Southern Paranormal Investigation Bureau 749 to join the bureau while working part-time and studying.

Bian Yue, captain of Team One of Bureau 749's investigation unit, sees that Xu is barely out of high school yet has already become a metaphysics master. Knowing that she was recommended by an influential figure, Bian Yue starts bickering with her almost as soon as they meet.

While hunting paranormal entities, the two discover that some of them have also learned human formations and talismans.

A powerful paranormal entity accuses Bian Yue of taking the enemy for her mother. Bureau 749 also seems to be hiding secrets...

As the two support each other through one mission after another, their feelings quietly begin to change.

Of course, the story focuses more on a variety of real paranormal cases from the Southern Kingdom. The adapted stories incorporate extensive knowledge of metaphysics, literature, and geography.

The Pearl of the Orient, Wang Yi, undergoing a heavenly tribulation; mountain spirits in southeastern Guizhou; corpse-driving rituals among the Miao people of western Hunan; the black and white dragons of Dongting Lake; the Yingkou dragon; and a haunted girls' dormitory in Henan...

[Pure romance, both devoted to each other. The story is fictional, and the author is a Miao geomancer.]
