Haruki Murakami is good at using a well-known thing, image, or the characteristics of a famous character to start a book, such as the history of Japan's introduction of sheep from China in "The Adventures of Sheep", and the characteristics of Franz Kafka's writing in "Kafka on the Shore": the so-called alien world. In this article, Murakami uses Mozart's short play "Don Giovanni" as the center of the writing.

The plot of this book is so exciting! Like a mystery peeling back layers, Murakami Haruki introduces us into a world full of fantasy and metaphor. I especially like the description of the mysterious neighbor Menshiki in the book. His appearance is always unpredictable. This reminds me of Tengo in "1Q84", who was also involved in a series of incredible events. Haruki Murakami's writing is always so charming and immersive.

The materialization of concepts and metaphors is still the same style as before. Compared with some previous works, I personally feel that there may be some repetition.
