After Learning the Princess Is Adopted, the Emperor Turns Around and Steals His Wife

[Rebirth, satisfying face-slapping, the emperor steals his minister's wife, men competing for her, sweet romance, and a devoted couple.]

Han Mianmian is the unloved eldest princess of Rui. In her previous life, she was forced into a political marriage and died miserably in a foreign land.

Reborn, she refuses to sit around and wait for her fate. She decides to find a suitable husband in Jiangxia City first, so she can avoid being sent off in a political marriage.

She sets her sights on the powerful minister Wei Zhuanchao and tries every possible way to persuade her imperial brother, Han Mozhan, to grant them a marriage.

Before learning that she was adopted, Han Mozhan suppresses his inexplicable feelings and decides to help make the match.

"My imperial sister has been in love with you for a long time. Starting today, she will move into the Wei residence as your betrothed, so the two of you can grow closer."

"Wei Zhuanchao, I order you to fall in love with her within a month."

Wei Zhuanchao has always obeyed his orders, so he agrees.

Before the month is up, Han Mozhan learns that Han Mianmian is adopted and brings her back to the palace.

"I've thought it over. I'm more suited than you to be Mianmian's husband."

"You don't need to take care of her for me anymore. I'll look after her myself."

For the first time, Wei Zhuanchao disobeys an imperial order. "But I love her too."

Han Mozhan lifts Han Mianmian onto the windowsill until they're face to face. "From now on, you are no longer my imperial sister."

"Imperial brother, we're not right for each other."

"Mianmian, whether we're right for each other or not, you can only be my wife."

Han Mianmian nearly resigns herself to her fate, but then Prince Xin, the scoundrel from her previous life, comes early to ask for her hand in a political marriage. She changes her mind and decides to take control of her fate.

She asks the emperor, "Your Majesty, would you be willing to give me the throne?"

Han Mozhan doesn't answer.

Later, she takes revenge on Prince Xin, flirts with the emperor, and even teams up with Wei Zhuanchao to pretend to run away, always keeping the emperor at arm's length and making him chase her.

When the throne is placed before her, she smiles. "You're all wrong. I want to be the Empress Dowager."
