This is the story of a storyteller from Beijing who transmigrates after using his phone beneath a tree during a thunderstorm. What will happen when he finds himself in the world of a novel? He does everything he can to leave that fictional world, but obstacles keep appearing. First, there is a red-robed youth adorned with jade ornaments, then a swordsman roaming the world, followed by the owner of a printing shop, and a rich young master with red lips and pearly white teeth... It seems that everyone who meets him turns into a chivalrous hero eager to care for someone they think is intellectually disabled. As a storyteller, he is well suited to the world of novels: he can tell stories and read books at the same time. But just as he grows more eager to return to real life, one unexpected turn after another comes his way. Eventually, he finds someone he loves and builds a successful career in that fictional world. Faced with all these temptations, what will he choose?
