A Cry From Nothing

A murder takes place in a lecture hall...

The joy and suffering that emerged within that confined space ebbed and flowed like ripples on water, shifting and changing without end. The river of time rushed on, its rolling waves finally settling on a single image.

I knew it would come, no matter how time passed or memories changed. That beautiful face, still streaked with blood, remains so vivid. Every wound, deep or shallow, is etched into my heart, and no amount of wind or rain can wear it away.
