Mu Qingge was mysteriously brought to a strange world. A System that lived in her mind and could materialize as a bird told her she had to complete the tasks this world assigned if she wanted to go home.
Faced with unknown dangers in a completely unfamiliar world, she had no desire to do any tasks. She had been perfectly healthy in her old world, so why would she come here and suffer for no reason?
...All right, the System's offers really were pretty generous.
After all, the rewards would be a big help when she returned to her original world, and failing the tasks wouldn't cost her anything. She could still go home either way. The System had even asked her to stay, so she supposed she could do it the favor and stick around for a while.
Next came stocking up on supplies. The supplies in the System's storage space wouldn't expire, so she could stock up on whatever she liked and buy anything she wanted. The original owner of her body had plenty of money.
But some major events would happen in this world all the same, such as epidemics, so she needed to stock up on medicine and other essentials in advance.
Then came the shopping spree. Using enough for ten people as her benchmark, she bought enough food to last several lifetimes.
When the apocalypse came, she saw the worst of human nature, but she also met people she could trust with her back. (And not all of them were human.)
