Five years later, they meet again in court. He is an elite lawyer defending the powerful, while she is a psychological expert who assesses the credibility of witnesses. As they clash, He Wanqing sees that Lin Wenyan still holds on to clear ideals, though they are hidden behind a more complicated mask. Lin Wenyan sees that He Wanqing is still as resilient as a creeping vine, but has grown into a mature woman who can discern the subtleties of human nature.

And some love is like moonlight: though clouds may hide it for a time, it has never truly gone away.

“You are the most resilient creeping vine in my heart, and the moonlight in my world that has never gone out.”
