"Love in Tibet" is not a novel, it is my real experience.
In 2003, I embarked on a journey to Tibet. I didn't believe it was love at first sight when I met a straggler. I believed it.
Unexpectedly, the beauty is so short-lived. Seven days later, a car accident occurred. I was in a coma for four days and almost became a vegetative state. However, the straggler ended his life from then on. After his accident and before his death, he kept calling my name. He didn't quiet down until his companions told him that I was safe. Even his ashes left Lhasa on the same flight as mine. I knew nothing about all this at the time and kept thinking about waiting for him to come visit me one day. I even resented why he delayed visiting me after something happened.
A lifetime of seven days. From then on, during the day and night, when I wake up and sleep, I will miss him endlessly.
Every November 20th is his birthday, every November 21st is my birthday, every November 20th, in front of his grave, I accompany him, he stays with me, and we spend it together. Our commitment can only be realized in this way. I don't know if this is a blessing from God or a punishment for us.
