Yang Long, a special forces soldier with extensive combat experience, was killed during a mission. His soul transmigrated to the Southern Song dynasty, where he was reborn as a three-year-old boy in a remote mountain village. The Southern Song was at a critical juncture after defeating the Jin: its borders were unstable, and corruption ran rampant within. Seeing the people suffering terribly, Yang Long resolved to change history with his knowledge and determination. In the years that followed, he met many famous figures from the martial world and generals who fought the Mongols. He fought the Mongols time and again, reclaimed lost territory, and ultimately defeated the invading Mongol armies, succeeding in his northern campaign.
