Soul Ferry: Evil Brought to Justice

[Unconventional + a touch of the supernatural + episodic stories + inspired by Soul Ferry + office romance + light humor] Those who commit evil in the human world will be punished in the underworld. All sins will eventually face judgment... This world isn't simply black and white... Have you ever wondered if soul ferrymen really exist somewhere in this vast world? Perhaps even an ordinary person like you has once worked as a ferryman... A single shut-in who's never dated and is unemployed at home meets a ferryman on Ghost Festival. Not only does he help her find a job, he also sets her up with a boyfriend. The only catch is that the job is in the underworld, and the boyfriend is a ghost. But working in the underworld isn't easy either. The pay is low, and you have to level up by fighting monsters, which wears you down inside and out. Even worse, one of her coworkers is a sharp-tongued, short-tempered, scheming rabbit spirit. This novel consists of eight stories: “Stars Beneath the Gardenias,” “Ghosts,” “The Bewitching Collar,” “The Hem of the School Uniform,” “As Vile as You,” “If You Were My Whole World,” “Dreams of the Past,” and “The Blind Heavens.”
