The Unrivaled Tang Sect: The Road to Freedom

Bright red flames crackle as they lick the broken roof beams, casting eerie shadows over the twisted human shapes scattered everywhere. In this strange scene, only two figures, one tall and one short, walk slowly toward the edge of the village.

“Where are you going?” the taller one asks.

“I don’t know. But I have to leave here. I promised Grandma.”

“Then would you like to come with me?”

“…”

The boy stops and makes his choice.

Someone reaches out to him, offering both hands and helping him find his way.

He gives everything he has to help that person break free from fate.

His half-black, half-white wings unfurl, all to protect everyone he wants to protect.

Huo Yuhao × original protagonist

The protagonist will grow over time.

I’m a complete beginner, and this story is just me going wild. The original work will only feature in Volume One; everything afterward is original. There are some melodramatic plot points, so don’t read if that’s not your thing.

There is a romance, but not much of one (romance is hard to write in a leveling story). It’ll probably get more attention later.

My backlog is as unpredictable as Schrodinger’s cat, but I’ll try to update every day.
