[KPL] The All-Round Substitute

Most professional league rules are taken from Baidu; everything else is made up. The romance is still undecided, and everything serves the plot. Please don’t read too much into it. Thank you!

Two female leads

What would happen if KPL had a professional team made up mostly of women?

They’d face endless abuse and prejudice,

but also find countless moments of joy and inspiration...

They’ve stood at the top.

They’ve endured a long, difficult slump.

In pursuit of better results, the team fell apart.

And finally... as the old guard gave way to the new, they would meet again at the summit...

The unserious version

When they prayed to the gods...

“I hope our team wins the championship. I hope we can all stand together on the grand finals stage! What about you, Sister A Ming?”

Gazing into her sparkling eyes, she answered softly, “My wish is for world peace...”

Linlang: ...

When Captain Ming received a confession...

“A Ming, I like you. Will you be my girlfriend?” a player asked shyly, holding out a bouquet.

“Sorry, the Queen Mother of the West won’t let us date... What? You’re asking who the Queen Mother of the West is? If you don’t even know the famous Lady Shiji from our team, you don’t deserve to say you like me.”

Shitou: ...

When Captain Ming received a gift from an anonymous sender...

“Which asshole dumped trash outside my house? I’m posting about it on Weibo to call them out...”
