True knowledge can be found in the ordinary, allowing readers to appreciate the complexity of human nature in the long history and feel the excitement of their thoughts.
As the author, I hope that this novel will trigger readers' thinking about history while also finding modern significance in the ancient setting. It is not only a historical review of the late Ming Dynasty, but also a discussion of eternal themes such as human nature, faith and responsibility.
