Wishing You Joy, Year After Year

At the very beginning, Shen Yu watched the young master come down the stairs, and his normally steady heartbeat began to pound. He couldn't help falling madly for him, but he was only a poor student supported by Father Zhu. He had neither the status nor the courage to pursue him.

He was timid, he was afraid, and he loved him in secret. Even after he went on to achieve fame and success, he never dared to hope for more. But what if the other man made the first move? He'd never be able to resist!

At the very end, the two of them nestled together in a tent, watching shooting stars fall across the sky and making their most heartfelt wishes for each other.

“May Shen Yu be safe and well, year after year.”

“May Sui Sui be joyful, year after year.”
