Drive Out the Equal Wife, Divorce the Scumbag! Pregnant, I Marry the Emperor’s Uncle

[Traditional historical romance and household intrigue + female general vs. transmigrated woman + strong heroine and hero + prince dotes on his wife] Ning Shu has been married into the Lu family for half a year. Pregnant, she manages the household, protects her in-laws, and uses her dowry to support the family. In return, her husband returns in triumph, standing on her father’s bones, then betrays her by taking another wife. He says, “A Shu, you were personally appointed a female general by the late emperor. You should be broad-minded. Don’t behave like the women of the household, getting jealous and petty.” He also says, “She’s different from you. She’s a frail woman who can’t even defend herself. She can’t go to the battlefield, nor can she learn the schemes of the inner household. She’s very innocent. Once she joins the family, make sure you take good care of her.” Later, he says, “As long as you behave yourself, I’ll treat both of you equally and won’t favor one over the other.” Ning Shu laughs, turns around, and picks up her long-neglected spear. With a letter of divorce, she tells him to get lost! Lu Shaoyu thinks Ning Shu is a cripple he can push around however he likes, and has never given her a second thought. Later, when Lu Shaoyu is surrounded on all sides, forced to kneel and humiliated by enemy troops, he sees through bloodshot eyes as Ning Shu rides into the fray, spear in hand, and knocks the enemy general from his horse with a single thrust... Only then does he realize he was blind. He regrets it. But now he can no longer aspire to her. All he can do is stand packed among the cheering crowd, eyes nearly bulging, and watch the dignified man who stands beneath The Outcast alone and above ten thousand others escort her to her bridal sedan in a grand procession of eight palanquins.
