Ode to Immortality

Mo Fan stood with one hand behind his back, his figure tall and straight like a slender bamboo. His black hair was smooth as satin, left untied save for a purple ribbon casually binding it. Alone at the end of the Immortal Road, he watched the river of time flow past him. He had missed too much and lost too much in this life. Then he silently looked at the newborn baby in the river. Hm, that's my child all right. Even from birth, they know how to make an entrance. As if struck by a thought, a spirit seal condensed at his fingertips and shot into the river of time. A muffled rumble sounded in the sky, and a black hole appeared. Several disdainful voices drifted out, seeming to say, "I can't believe you actually thought you could break the balance." Several dark figures then surged out and quickly followed it inside.

"Damn it, I let my guard down," Mo Fan said ruefully, watching the dark figures. This was what you called bringing trouble upon yourself, raising the difficulty for yourself. (It really was the grown-up version of himself inviting his younger self over.) He then turned a cold gaze on the black hole.

"Quit your hocus-pocus. I hope you bring out the moves you love using to attack me. I mean, techniques." Mo Fan glanced at the sky and pursed his lips, then looked at the baby before charging into the black hole.
