This book traces historical facts from the Xia dynasty through the Qing dynasty and into modern times, with the aim of helping readers understand the real history of ancient China.
It covers specific historical events and follows the historical record as closely as possible. Some topics are key material found in history books, while others are not covered there. Some of them were new to me too. This book pays close attention to detail. Some material was left out earlier and will be covered later in a supplementary section. Specific works will also be discussed in detail later.
This book may also be useful to middle and high school students. In addition to recounting historical facts, it includes some general cultural knowledge.
