You Called Me Your Brother, Yet You Want Me as Your Concubine

[Childhood friends ✘ bickering like a brother and sister ✘ her sworn enemy wants her as his concubine ✘ love and hate intertwined] Xie Huaian was the heir of a noble house, and the emperor had personally bestowed on him the title of Young Lord Ning. His status was immensely exalted, and everyone feared him. Everyone, that is, except Li Zhiyi, the Chancellor’s daughter. The Chancellor’s daughter, Li Zhiyi, had quarreled with him since childhood. They were childhood friends in every sense of the word. But one day, their friendship changed into something else. “Hey, be my concubine. Your father’s going to be executed anyway. I feel sorry for you, so I’ll take you in. It’d be such a shame for someone so young to die.” Xie Huaian spoke with teasing, careless disdain, as if all the lives in the household meant nothing to him. Li Zhiyi stared at him in shock and disbelief. She struggled to get home, but Xie Huaian stopped her. “Zhiyi, marrying me is your only choice.” Li Zhiyi froze, then sank her teeth into his shoulder. Xie Huaian winced in pain, but kept his arm locked around her waist. “Zhiyi, being my concubine is the greatest kindness I can offer you. If you leave, you’ll only meet your death.” His long fingers reached toward her fair, rosy cheek. This was the face he had desired for years. “We’re practically brothers. No need to thank me.” To hell with being brothers. What kind of brother wants to sleep with his brother? Besides, they were a man and a woman. What kind of brothers were they supposed to be? Brothers who bowed before heaven and earth together? “Let go of me, Xie Huaian!” Xie Huaian wrapped an arm around Li Zhiyi’s waist. “You’re so tough with your words. Are you just as tough in bed?”
