In a modern city parallel to the real world, everyone awakens a special ability called “Shanhai Powers” upon reaching adulthood. These abilities originate from the mythical creatures and rare treasures of the ancient Classic of Mountains and Seas. Each person’s power is connected to something described in the book, taking a unique form and possessing its own distinct abilities.
