The Great Sage and the disciples of the Jinzhong Sect went to Xiaoyao Valley to visit the Hu Ge Sect, but encountered misunderstandings and attacks on the way. In the Hu Ge Sect, Zhang Dasheng showed wisdom and courage, resolved the misunderstanding with the Hu Ge Sect disciples, and established a friendly relationship with the Hu Ge Sect. Zhang Dasheng practiced in the Immortal Bamboo Forest, enhanced his strength, and clashed with the monk Kong Hao who misunderstood him. He finally resolved the misunderstanding and learned about the Cultivation World Conference from Kong Hao. Zhang Dasheng also reached a deal with Xie Kun about fairy bamboo and obtained precious drinks. Finally, Zhang Dasheng left with Xiuhua and Yue'er to continue their journey of cultivation.
