Love at First Sight: You’re Beyond My Reach

In the autumn when she was twelve, Jiang Jing met someone who was the moon she longed to pluck from the sky, yet also a sun forever beyond her reach. Jiang Jing and Liang Xuan became classmates and bickering friends. The first seeds of a young girl’s innocent feelings were planted then. Passionate, bold, and carefree, she fell deeper and deeper, until that single glance became a love that lasted her whole life. “Liang Xuan, I’ve given myself back to me. In the next life, let’s not meet again. It hurts too much.” Jiang Jing was a coward, but her love was not. “What a shame. For fifteen years, I never once said, ‘I like you.’” Only the wind knew how much the girl liked him. There were two names that would always remain regrets in Jiang Jing’s youth: Liang Xuan and Jiang Tangtang. One exchanged glance, and a lifetime of falling in love. One glance was all it took, and it would last forever.
