Tang Yu'er, a prince of the Great Tang, was sickly from childhood and struggled to survive in the Journey to the West world, where demons and monsters ran rampant. By chance, he obtained a mysterious jade pillow and began a journey of turning his fate around. With a mortal's body, he slays demons and exorcises monsters, helping Tang Sanzang journey west to obtain the scriptures. A different kind of ordinary-mortal story, with a different take on Journey to the West. It follows the rise of a little nobody, and is not a wish-fulfillment novel.
