After Being Blacklisted, I Started a Talent Agency in the Entertainment Industry

Jian Congyun, a professionally trained actress, made a splash online as a sophomore with her short film The Ship's Curtain. She went on to play supporting roles in several films, and appeared in plenty of magazine shoots and commercials. As soon as she graduated, she received offers from numerous agencies. In just a few short years, she had starred in two films that were both critically acclaimed and box-office hits. Her third film, Wei River, took a full two years to make. It paired her with a three-time Best Actor winner and was produced under the supervision of a renowned director and screenwriter. It was a labor of love for everyone involved. The film had already won Best Foreign Language Film at the Ottes Film Festival, and Jian Yitian was considered a shoo-in for Best Actress at the upcoming Golden Bird Awards, one of the country's three major awards. Many industry authorities were certain she would take home the prize. But at that crucial moment, a scandal made the future Best Actress disappear from the entertainment industry without a trace.

Five years later, Jian Yitian, using her real name, Jian Congyun, has built up her own agency. She's determined to shield young actors with dreams from the storms ahead, so they won't suffer betrayal by someone they trust as she did.
