From the Start, a Girl Dragged Me to Another World

[Western Fantasy + Gods + Mild Horror + Survival]

Late one night, Wang Linyuan was sleeping alone when a girl appeared, floating in the air. She wore a white dress, had long hair falling over her shoulders and obscuring most of her face. Then she told him a terrifying fact: she was pregnant with his child, three months along, and she had come to take him away! Just like that, Wang Linyuan transmigrated to Ansel Continent, the forsaken land of the gods in the world of Aethera.

The Creator God, Aio, discovered that the world’s laws had been thrown out of balance by the selfish desires of the chief gods. He decided to reclaim the source and restart the world. To preserve their divine offices and their very existence, the seven chief gods joined forces and killed Aio.

The instant the Creator God was slain, his source power ran wild, and a godslayer’s curse fell upon the seven chief gods. Their divine powers spiraled out of control and their divine souls shattered. Unable to withstand the source power, the chief gods were forced into eternal slumber, retaining only the barest trace of consciousness within their divine cores.

With the chief gods asleep, the ungoverned source of creation became a tide of divine power that swept across the world from the Starfall Abyss. This tide brought about the mass extinction of the First Era.

Much, much later, life emerged anew. Humanity adapted to divine power and developed a system for cultivating it.

Yet humans could easily be blown apart by divine power or mutated into monsters! And that wasn’t even the most despairing part.

There was a saying in the world: The day the gods awaken will be the day the Second Era ends.

Humanity kept searching for a way to avert disaster, and all eyes turned to the one place untouched by the tide of divine power: the forsaken land of the gods, Ansel.
