“Are you a cat?” “I think I am.”

“I don't think you are.” “Why not?”

“Because you're even more trouble than a cat.” “Then I'll cling to you for the rest of my life!”

Tao Zhiyu, a high school student at Chihai No. 1 High School, is an ordinary boy. He tends to doze off in science classes and isn't very comfortable around other people.

One day, by chance, he meets a girl who can turn into a cat: his classmate, Ye Ziting. And so begins the story of a bickering pair of kindred spirits...

As they slowly grow closer, they experience both the dull little things of everyday life and all sorts of strange, fantastic tales, getting to know each other through one squabble after another.

“What are you writing?” “A novel.”

“What is it about?” “A story about a boy who lets a catlike girl pester him for the rest of his life.”

“Don't write anything mean about me~” “I will. What are you going to do about it? Believe me, I'll make sure you can't get out of bed.”

“You wouldn't dare?!!! I was wrong, I was wrong QAQ”
