Global warming sent sea levels rising, submerging most of the world’s land. After an accident, a pair of gills grew on Jin Feng’s body, letting him breathe and move freely underwater, and even drink seawater. He had been enjoying a carefree life in the apocalypse, with plenty to eat and drink, until an aircraft carrier drifting in on the ocean currents arrived in such numbers that it shattered his peaceful post-apocalyptic life.
