Zhu Wenzheng quickly became the son of the Zhu family from a poor orphan. As the environment changed, he demonstrated extraordinary military capabilities. At the age of sixteen, he found his relative Zhu Yuanzhang in July, and married Xue Lili, who had traveled from China in August. In September, he began to lead troops to fight, laying a route for Zhu Yuanzhang to advance into Jiangxi.
At the age of seventeen, he conquered the entire territory of Jiangxi and became the garrison commander in charge of military affairs in Jiangxi Province. After capturing Hongdu City, Zhu Wenzheng began to train cavalry, crossbowmen, and fire musket troops here.
In 1362, the hero Chen Youliang marched into Hongdu with 600,000 troops. Zhu Wenzheng led 20,000 elite troops to defeat the enemy.
After Hongdu's victory, Zhu Wenzheng continued to fight in the Jiangnan area, and his prestige was close to that of Zhu Yuanzhang. Zhu Wenzheng retreated bravely, reached a dark agreement with Zhu Yuanzhang, and retired from the Central Plains.
In 1368, Zhu Yuanzhang established the Ming Dynasty. In the same year, Zhu Wenzheng led 2,000 men to sail down to Southeast Asia and formed an invincible fleet to earn silver coins for the Ming Dynasty.
Zhu Wen was becoming more and more powerful along the coast, but the Ming Dynasty lost its crown prince Zhu Biao during its peak period.
Zhu Wenzheng found out that Zhu Biao's death was a conspiracy by a civil servant group against the Ming Dynasty.
After Zhu Yuanzhang passed away, the civil service group used the emperor's name to cut down the vassal state, and at the same time used its power to conduct smuggling trade in Southeast Asia. Zhu Wenzheng secretly supported Zhu Di to win the Jingnan Campaign.
Zhu Wenzheng wrote to Zhu Di that in order to obtain wealth, he needed to sail across the ocean. Zhu Di began to send Zheng He to the Western Ocean to obtain a large amount of wealth.
Eighty-year-old Zhu Wenzheng finally returned to Guangxi, hiding his name and guarding the Ming Dynasty with his descendants.
