Reviving Traditional Chinese Medicine, Starting with Growing Medicinal Herbs

[The book mainly focuses on treating illness with traditional Chinese medicine and changing its current state and direction. Please go easy on me if anything is inaccurate. If you have a different perspective, feel free to discuss it in the comments.] In his previous life, he distrusted traditional Chinese medicine and was prejudiced against it. His father was bitten by a five-pace viper, and less than half a month later, his mother was diagnosed with late-stage liver cancer. ... His two closest relatives, treated with what he then believed was scientific Western medicine... His father’s leg was amputated, yet the snake venom still reached his heart. His mother had a liver transplant, yet the cancer still spread throughout her body. In the end, he lost both his loved ones and his money... Only then did he come to his senses and understand the words in the Inner Canon of the Yellow Emperor: “Thus, the sage treats illness before it arises and restores order before chaos takes hold. To treat an illness after it has formed, or bring order after chaos has set in, is like digging a well when thirsty or forging weapons after battle has begun. Is that not too late?” Only then did he learn what the right path was. Reborn, he acts in time to prevent his father’s amputation, using his knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine to ensure those regrets never come to pass. Afterward, he relies on his own abilities to compete with Western medicine, take on the power of capital, and restore the reputation of traditional Chinese medicine, making it mainstream... But is that the end of it? No. The new challenges are only just beginning.
