Looping Through the 1980s: My Wife Is Ruthless

The heroine of this story is more like a villain: ruthless and merciless. Her catchphrase is, “Break one of their legs first, so I can vent.”

The heroine, Xu Zhaorong, discovers that no matter how she dies, she keeps looping back to the year 1980.

In her first life, she was deceived and forced to be a baby-making machine twice, while her parents and younger brother were brutally killed.

In her second life, after discovering that she had been reborn, Xu Zhaorong picked up a knife and hacked apart everyone who had ever harmed her, but her parents and younger brother still died horribly.

In her third life, just as reborn Xu Zhaorong is about to grab her knife and keep chopping people up, the author appears and promises her a golden finger as long as she doesn't kill anyone.

Only then does Xu Zhaorong learn that she is a character in a book. But remembering how her parents and younger brother died for her in her previous two lives, she decides to make the best of this third life.

Unfortunately, the timing of Xu Zhaorong's rebirth is especially awful: she's already pregnant by the male lead. As for the male lead, he's a complete idiot. He slept with the heroine but has no idea who she was, which led to her miserable first two lives.

So in this third life, Xu Zhaorong finds the male lead and gives him a thorough beating first. But once she's done, she realizes, damn, this male lead is so handsome! The author has some conscience after all, setting me up with such a handsome man.

In that case, I'll begrudgingly forgive you. But the revenge I owe still has to be taken. I've used up all my gentleness and consideration in my first two lives, so this time, I live by the rule that only the ruthless can make their way in the world.
