An Embrace, A Passionate Surrender

(Both Pure × Mutual Devotion × Second Chance Romance, Good Girl + Bad Boy Campus Heartthrob) Li Zirui and Mu Jia are both seniors in Class 2 at Nanshi No. 1 High School. One is bold and passionate, the other quiet and composed. They seem worlds apart, and they assume they’ll have nothing to do with each other after the college entrance exams. But a university welcome party sets fate in motion. Someone sabotages Mu Jia, damaging her instrument’s strings, and just when she is flustered and helpless, Li Zirui steps in to help her.

She gradually realizes he isn’t anything like the rumors say.

After spending more time together, Mu Jia begins falling for Li Zirui. She can no longer hide her crush, and with encouragement from her roommate Chen Niannian, she gathers the courage to confess to him.

Li Zirui agrees to date her on a whim, but as their relationship unfolds, he genuinely falls in love with her. In truth, he had been drawn to her from the start.

Later, Mu Jia learns that Li Zirui approached her with an ulterior motive from the very beginning. Combined with a misunderstanding, this leaves her heartbroken, and she asks to break up.

Li Zirui is a born golden boy who has been adored by everyone his whole life. He has never shed a tear, but after Mu Jia breaks up with him, his heart breaks and he cries so hard that he develops an eye condition.

After weathering one obstacle after another, the two finally embrace again and love each other with courage and conviction…
