The apocalypse has arrived. Zombies surge like a tide, mutated plants run rampant across the continent, and mutated animals bare their fangs at humanity. In this time of crisis, humans who awaken supernatural abilities become supreme beings. Those with powers over natural elements such as metal, wood, water, fire, and earth rule their own territories.
Lin Qingmo never imagined that she would have no abilities at all, while her cow cat, Xiao Ba, would awaken a powerful one. Against a mutated bamboo viper, the cat boss tells it to go back to being a snake. Against a giant bloodsucking bat, the cat boss sends it straight to the underworld with one paw. With Xiao Ba's support, Lin Qingmo rises rapidly, only to stumble upon the secret behind the global mutations.
