People born in the 1980s have always had so many frustrations. The silliest thing I did as a child was wish I could grow up.
Su Nan was born in a small village in northern China, right on the banks of the Yellow River. That might sound like a wonderful location, and today it would certainly be considered a rare riverfront property. But back in the 1980s, it was a place plagued by one disaster after another. Anyone who survived in good health could count themselves incredibly lucky.
It was 1980, the early days of reform and opening up. People were so poor that they often didn't know where their next meal would come from.
Of course, all this was what Su Nan's parents told him. His own first vague memories only began when he was three or four.
In this little village, Su Nan and Wang Hao spent more than twenty years together, sharing both joy and sorrow. Fate brought them together, but a misunderstanding drove them apart.
Years later, when they met again, could they find their way back to each other...?
The author's writing is delicate and truly shows the childhood of all those born in the 1980s, with laughter and tears. Everyone will experience a different childhood, and they will have more or less regrets. When you grow up, you will have a different feeling when you look back on your childhood!
Extraordinary realism. For people born in the 1980s, the most rare thing is their childhood memories. Like it, cheers for the author ❤️
