Oh! My Honorable Chief

Chai Wen, daughter of Director Chai, the only surgeon at Tianqing County Hospital, has been a delinquent since childhood. Smoking, drinking, fighting: she does it all. They say she has a huge snake tattooed on her, and that there’s something downright wicked about her.

Those in the know also say that, young as she is, Chai Wen is practically a spirit medium, and absolutely not someone to mess with. Anyone who crosses her will have bad luck or fall ill at best, and see their family destroyed at worst...

And it’s true!

Ever since Xiao Chen met Chai Wen, all sorts of strange people have appeared around him, and one bizarre supernatural incident after another has kept happening. His fragile nerves are about to snap.

But with this kind of thing, you’re scared the first time, used to it the second, and by the third, you start to enjoy it. It even brings out your hidden potential, along with deeper feelings for Chai Wen.

So Xiao Chen is more than happy to become the most important person in the growth story of the renowned Ma family spirit medium. He’s even dreamed of living a shamelessly carefree life of “communicating with the worlds of the living and dead, banishing evil spirits, and keeping everyone safe.”
