A Summer Job Fixing Fishing Boats, and You Build an Aircraft Carrier by Hand?

Lin Hai’s family runs a fishing boat repair shop.

The year he passed the entrance exam for Ocean University, his father fell ill.

Lin Hai took over the shipyard.

He resolved to work part-time over the summer break to help support the family.

So he took a job from the school: refurbish a destroyer for a naval exhibition!

The requirements weren’t high: polish it, wax it, remove the rust, and paint it!

It just had to look presentable!

But when the ship was hauled into the yard, Lin Hai was dumbfounded!

The destroyer was covered in rust, and every last one of its internal components had been removed!

Lin Hai was furious! They were taking advantage of an honest man!

The client wanted it modified into a maritime museum! The equipment inside just had to look real; it didn’t actually need to work!

Lin Hai awakened the [Violent Modification System]!

A month later, a brand-new concept destroyer made its debut!

It had a hangar, an engine room, and even a missile bay!

How had he made a concept model look so realistic?

Just as everyone was marveling at the craftsmanship, there was a boom, and the ship started moving!

The client: “What the hell! I told you to modify it to look the part, not make it real! How did you turn this destroyer into an aircraft carrier?”

Lin Hai: “You said to really modify it, so I went all in!”
