Harry Potter: The Second Secret Keeper

By the Black Lake, the only sounds were the Giant Squid’s tentacles slapping the water and a girl’s sobs. The black-haired boy gently wiped away the tears on her cheek.

“Whoever you are, wherever you came from, I’ll never think you’re a strange person. Because there’s a heart here beating for you. And I’ll be the second Secret Keeper of your identity.”

“I was born a bird who yearns for freedom. There are no shackles on my feet, but I’m more than willing to stay by your side.”

“So feelings are the strongest shackles in the world after all.”

“Sirius, would you like to see the place where I grew up?”

“If it has anything to do with you, then I’d be willing.”

The heroine, Song Le, is Chinese. When her parents took her to London, she came across a mad witch who loved making all kinds of strange things. Song Le was the only one who visited her shop, and the item she bought unexpectedly triggered some kind of mechanism that took her to another world. And in this world, she had to attend a school called Hogwarts to learn magic?!

The male lead is Sirius Black. The heroine is an original character, and this is not a transmigrate-into-a-book story or a wish-fulfillment romance. She has no golden finger and isn’t universally adored, though she gets along well with people. She was a latchkey child from a young age, so she’s rather sensitive and slow to recognize her own feelings. The romance is a slow burn.

This isn’t a power fantasy. The heroine isn’t a strong, capable type, but she is talented and ambitious. Canon couples remain intact. There are lots of original details and a modern-day crossover, so please take note of the potential pitfalls.
