Ah Hao

[Reborn + childhood sweethearts + the second male lead takes the lead + no rivalry between women, just true sisterhood]

Since you want us to be siblings, I’ll grant your wish.

When Meng Hao was eight, she and her father found Meng Ning in a beggars’ den and took him in.

At thirteen, she and Meng Ning confessed their love and promised each other forever.

She still remembered what Meng Ning said the day he left home.

Beneath the peach tree, the young man was bright and handsome. Love shone in his eyes, almost spilling over, as he smiled and said, “Haohao, wait for me. Once I pass the imperial examinations, I’ll come back and marry you in grand style.”

Meng Hao waited five years.

But even as she watched her father depart, full of resentment, and listened to the villagers gossip about her, her beloved never came back.

Five years later, Meng Ning returned with a beautiful woman in his arms, then turned around and said they should be siblings.

Meng Hao became a laughingstock.

And Meng Ning even imprisoned her in the tiny Meng estate, stripping her of her freedom.

During the ten years she was imprisoned, Meng Hao watched him use despicable methods to murder his beloved.

Then he sweet-talked his way into marrying a new wife.

She watched him kill his own child for the sake of his ambitions, then send her into a den of wolves.

Reborn once more, Meng Ning, since you want us to be siblings, I’ll grant your wish.

Meanwhile, her childhood sweetheart stood beside Meng Ning and asked sincerely, “Haohao, will you marry me?”
