The Scent of Irises

Shu Fu and Long Yichen fell in love because of a bouquet of irises. After marrying in secret, just as Long Yichen was about to end their secret marriage and introduce Shu Fu to the world, a car accident left him with amnesia, wiping away even his memories of the woman he loved.

Taking advantage of the situation, Long Yichen’s parents had their son divorce Shu Fu and threw her out.

A year later, Shu Fu left Huacheng for Los Angeles with her newborn twins, Shu Qin and Shu Yue.

Five years later, Shu Fu gave up jewelry design and reinvented herself, becoming the most famous writer in Los Angeles’s Chinese community. When Huacheng’s largest media group bought the screen adaptation rights to her work and turned it into a film, Shu Fu returned to Huacheng with the twins to work on the adaptation and filming.

When she ran into Long Yichen again five years later, the familiar feeling drew him to her, and he pursued her relentlessly. Shu Fu kept her feelings in check and treated him with cool indifference.

Shu Qin and the mischievous Shu Yue engineered a chance meeting with Long Yichen, successfully catching his attention.

After Shu Qin brought in a renowned doctor to examine him, they learned that their daddy hadn’t actually lost his memory in the car accident. His grandmother and Hu Maman, the daughter-in-law she wanted for him, had teamed up to hire a hypnotist and make him forget his past with their mommy, Shu Fu.

When Long Yichen learned the truth, he left the Long Group in a rage and took Shu Fu and the twins to Los Angeles.

Unwilling to accept being cast aside, Hu Maman hired assassins at great expense, intending to kill Shu Fu and the children.
