What Does My Business Deal with Gao Qiqiang Have to Do with You, Hou Liangping?

“Li Baoguo, you're suspected of serious disciplinary violations in Handong Province. This is your arrest warrant. Come with me.”

Looking at the triumphant Hou Liangping, Li Baoguo feels wronged, but the words on his lips never come out.

Fine. I'll take a break for a while.

Let's see just how chaotic Handong Province gets without me.

The Supreme People's Court officially announces that Li Baoguo has been sentenced to death, with a six-month reprieve.

As soon as the Supreme People's Court makes the announcement, the various forces in Handong Province descend into chaos, just as expected.

Sha Ruijin is parachuted into Handong Province and becomes its top official.

Hou Liangping also uses the credit for arresting Li Baoguo to soar to the top.

Meanwhile, Mang Village is in an uproar.

“Li Baoguo's been arrested. It's time for Mang Village to take off. Do you know how to write the ‘Mang’ in Mang Village?”

Tazhai is in an uproar, too.

“With Li Baoguo gone from Handong Province, it's time to get my drugs moving.”

Zhao Ruilong is also fired up.

“Father, with Li Baoguo gone from Handong, I should step in and claim this lucrative opportunity.”

And so...

Handong descends into total chaos.

Overnight, this economically powerful province loses control of public order, and foreign investors withdraw their investments one after another.

But the people see things clearly, and submit a petition signed by tens of thousands to the central authorities.

“Li Baoguo, Handong's people can't do without you!”
