After They Left Me Behind, Mom and Dad Suddenly Regretted It

After I was accepted to Qinghua University, my parents finally kept their promise and took me on a trip far from home.

But the next morning, when I woke up, I discovered that both my parents had vanished.

The hotel room was completely empty. They'd left so suddenly that they hadn't even left a note.

A few hours later, I came across my younger sister's post on WeChat Moments.

It was a group photo. In it, my parents were taking her shopping at the mall. The caption read:

“My dearest family. Today is all about me.”

After a long silence, I replied:

“That's great. From now on, they're all yours.”

I left without looking back, but my parents, who had always hated me, panicked this time.
