What? My Arch-Enemy Is Actually My Senior Brother

Ji Mo Xinran awakened and gained a System.

– She was the young lady of a cultivation family, and she fell for the male lead, the third elder of the Canglan Sect’s senior disciple.

– To be with him, she rejected the Canglan Sect’s leader and chose to become the third elder’s disciple. When the male lead was injured, she risked her life to save him.

– Imagine her surprise: she thought she was the heroine, but it turned out she was a vicious supporting character who constantly opposed and provoked the heroine, sabotaged the relationship between the leads, and was ultimately stripped of her spiritual roots by the male lead, dying without even a grave.

System: Host, your task is to change the original ending and survive, without altering the overall plot too much at the beginning.

Ji Mo Xinran: ...Wouldn’t it be better to just kill the male lead and nip the problem in the bud?

System: Not for now. The male and female leads are the foundation of this world. But “for now” is the key phrase.

Ji Mo Xinran: ...

- When she first joined the Canglan Sect, Ji Mo Xinran chose to stay out of trouble. But can someone explain why the heroine is always hanging around her?

– During a secret-realm expedition, she met him. His words were barbed and irritating, and she accidentally became bound to the Life-and-Death Bell. Ji Mo Xinran secretly resolved to train hard, break the contract, and then kill the guy.

– But when she arrived at the Canglan Sect, she discovered that this jerk was actually her senior brother, who was supposedly a prodigy in the original story!!!

Note: There’s a lot of setup early on, so some things might be confusing. They’ll be explained later.

“I heard you!”

Ji Mo Xinran grinned and leaned closer to him.

“Heard what?”

“Heard you say... you like me.”
