The Breaker

(An alternate universe, Tokyo, one heroine or no heroine) (I haven't based this on anything. If it seems familiar, I deny everything!!)

A mysterious man wearing a hideous mask made from human skin and calling himself the Face of Fear has taken more than 200 students hostage inside their school, seizing control of the entire university. The person chosen to negotiate with him is a boy serving time in a maximum-security prison for heinous crimes. His name is Kanata. He is a demon who took part in a chemical gas terrorist attack that killed over a million people, murdered 64 police officers, and was sentenced to death. As the vicious criminal barricaded inside the university kills hostages while making bizarre demands, he faces off in a battle of wits against the cold-blooded demon who has no regard for human life. Both keep their nerve as the deadly contest unfolds...!
