Love Bewitched by Miao Gu

A modern xuanhuan novel blending cultivation, Lovecraftian horror, and Miao witchcraft. One-on-one romance, happy ending, dark story, alternating perspectives, and a tragic love story between the parents in the backstory. The setting is grim and brutal, but I personally feel the happy ending is quite healing.

Two nonhuman characters. A purely fictional work inspired by reality, but it does not represent or equate to everything in real life. The protagonists suffer early on. I wanted to give a content warning, but couldn't get myself to do it, so I'm not going to. This was originally a free story, so if you can't handle it, please don't force yourself to read. Drop it as soon as anything makes you uncomfortable. I only promise that the quality won't fall apart; I can't promise anything else. I write for fun, and I won't accept malicious criticism. If you don't like it, I'll delete your comments.

The central theme of this story is the sense of repression unique to East Asia, expressing the pursuit of someone living outside mainstream values. I dedicate this story to the celebration of flawed lives and the triumph over loneliness!
