Twin Legends: Blessings Beneath the Echo Flower

An Undertale fanfic, made by a newcomer. Please don’t flame it if it’s not to your taste. Here’s the general background: At first, all life in the world was created by the Tree of Life. But early life forms were too complex and chaotic, so to manage them better, the Tree of Life created two rulers: humans and monsters. The monsters were the first rulers, but since this was its first attempt, they couldn’t manage life effectively. They tried to be kind and make friends with other intelligent life forms… or so they thought? So the Tree of Life created a second ruler: humans. Humans were the Tree of Life’s proudest creation, and its greatest regret. Fierce and courageous, they slaughtered countless life forms as soon as they appeared. This made the Tree of Life worry about the future of all the other creatures, especially after it discovered that humans had used the power of Determination to kill monsters. The Tree of Life decided to help the monsters and bring balance to the world. Monsters didn’t have Determination, or had only a very weak form of it, so every few hundred years, the Tree of Life used its life force to strengthen their Determination. But humans seemed to hate monsters by nature. In one war, they drove the monsters underground and sealed them there with magic. Also, although some intelligent creatures weren’t monsters, humans still catalogued them as monsters. Conversely, creatures with little intelligence were called animals. Of course, the Tree of Life continued to bless the monsters, and even brought itself down into the underground world. But after developing a civilization, the monsters had little taste for violence, so even ten thousand years later, they had no intention of breaking the seal. Still, thanks to Determination, they slowly began to resemble humans…

All right, then we’ll follow the original story with the seven humans. The rest is this work.
