Divine Authority Administration: Above the Heavens

“In this age of collapsing divine authority and rampant calamities,

how are we supposed to resist this wretched fate?”

Lin Wantian had a dream.

In it, the heavens collapsed and calamity engulfed him. Someone was saying, “Run.”

When he awoke, a line of text appeared before his eyes:

[Choose to save the world, or destroy it?]

He chose to save it.

And then he awakened the world’s most powerful and most ominous ability: Sequence Zero, Calamity and Misfortune.

The previous person to wield this ability was named Mu Chenge. He saved the world, but at the cost of his best friend’s tragic death and the loss of the one he loved. In the end, he died a broken man.

Everyone said that the Child of Calamity brought misfortune.

His parents died because of him. His town was destroyed because of him. He was shunned, despised, and treated like a jinx.

But this time, he didn’t want to repeat the past.

When a throne-realm calamity descended upon the city, when the tentacles of Greed’s Misfortune reached for countless citizens, when the schemes of the Mother of Decay shrouded the land,

the youth raised the shattered divine halberd, and the Throne of Calamity appeared behind him.

“I’ll bear everything and save this world.”

When fate’s curse came to pass,

his brother was gravely wounded, his beloved was on the brink of death, and his best friend disappeared.

He faced the gods alone.

“I won’t let anyone else die before my eyes.”

Even if he had to stand against the world, even if fate cursed him, even if the world forgot him, he would cut down this endless calamity with his own hands.

He would save his best friend and the one he loved, too.

Because this time, he was the one who wielded the authority over calamity.
