Long Ge was an ordinary woman from the 21st century. One ordinary day, she was lying quietly in bed reading when an unexpected accident sent her transmigrating into the world of ancient texts from the Gu Ling Kingdom.

Among the politicians, military strategists, and masters of strategy were Jiang Ziya and Shang Yang; among the generals were Wei Qing, Wu Qi, and Bai Qi; among the civil officials were Wei Zheng and Fang Xuanling; among the great educators were Confucius and Mencius; among the merchants were Fan Li and Lü Buwei; and there were also talents from every field, such as Huang Daopo, Wu Daozi, and Hua Tuo.
With the wholehearted support of so many famous ministers, Long Ge weathered countless storms, growing ever wiser and braver until she became a great empress. The common people revered and loved her, and the famous ministers respected her as well.
