The entire novel revolves around the search for the meaning of one's existence. Through stream-of-consciousness associations and Kafkaesque philosophical tales, the author tells the story of the protagonist, whose nameplate breaks, prompting him to explore the meaning of life in an absurd world and eventually arrive at a revelation. To make the prose more expressive, spaces and paragraph breaks are used in place of some punctuation.
